Services
- Radiator installation – new radiator fitting in private houses, apartments and commercial spaces
- Radiator replacement – replacing old cast iron or steel radiators with modern models
- Radiator repair – leak elimination, valve replacement, connection sealing
- Heating pipe replacement – replacing old steel pipes with polypropylene or copper pipes
- Thermostatic valve installation – fitting thermostatic valves for temperature control
- System balancing – hydraulic balancing for even heat distribution between radiators
- Radiator bleeding – removing air from the system when radiators only partially heat
- Heating riser replacement – replacing vertical pipes in multi-storey buildings
When to Call
These signs indicate radiator heating problems that need professional help:
- Radiator only heats at the top, the bottom stays cold
- One or more radiators in the building do not heat at all
- Sounds in radiators – knocking, bubbling or water gurgling
- Visible water marks or moisture patches under the radiator or at pipe connections
- Radiators are visibly corroded, with peeling paint or visible damage
- Uneven temperature in different rooms – too hot in one, too cold in another
- Room heats very slowly after turning on radiators
- Heating bills have increased significantly without an obvious reason
Our Approach
We begin with a situation assessment – inspecting radiators, pipes and their connections. If the problem is localised (e.g. one radiator not heating), bleeding or valve replacement is often sufficient. If the problem affects multiple radiators, we carry out full system diagnostics to determine the true causes.
For radiator replacement, we help select the most suitable radiator type and size, taking into account room area, window placement and existing pipe configuration. We offer solutions from various manufacturers – from economical steel panel radiators to designer models.
In apartment buildings, we coordinate work with the property manager and neighbours when a riser needs to be shut off. We plan work to keep the heating interruption as short as possible.

FAQ
How much does radiator replacement cost?
The price depends on the radiator type, size and complexity of work. A simple radiator replacement in an apartment, if existing connections are in good condition, starts from EUR 80-150 for labour (excluding the radiator price). We prepare a precise estimate after an on-site inspection.
Can a radiator be replaced during the heating season?
Yes, a radiator can be replaced during the heating season as well. In an apartment building, this requires a short-term riser shutdown (usually 2-4 hours), which we coordinate with the property manager. In a private house, the process is simpler as the system can be shut off at any time.
What radiators are recommended?
For Latvian conditions and central heating systems, we most often recommend steel panel radiators (e.g. Purmo, Kermi) – they offer good heat output, a reasonable price and a 10+ year service life. For private houses with autonomous heating, aluminium radiators are also suitable.
Why does the radiator only heat at the top?
The most common reason is air accumulation in the radiator. This can be resolved by bleeding using a special key (Maevsky valve). If the problem recurs after bleeding, the cause may be system imbalance or deposits inside the radiator. In such cases, we recommend calling a specialist.
